On the emergency exit stairways of a shopping mall, Daniel Gebhart de Koekkoek captured the proud community of Bodybuilders transforming themselves into their stage outfit. The series was shot during the World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships in Vienna 2014 and the stairways served as a backstage area of the show. After being denied the access to the backstage area, Koekkoek found his own way to get there and gives an unusual insight into the culture of bodybuilding aesthetics.
