On September 22, international photography event Unseen Amsterdam 2017 opens to the public in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, highlighting the most recent developments in the world of contemporary photography. For the sixth edition, festivities include an array of new programme elements dedicated to the ethos of new work and young talent. Unseen includes a fair, book market, speakers’ platform, onsite projects, exhibitions and a city programme. More than fifty galleries from around the world are invited to showcase work from established and emerging artists, with particular emphasis on new works.

The Unseen Dummy Award provides a showcase of exceptional (potential) photobook projects, and the ING Unseen Talent Award recognises emerging photography talent, including the five finalists: Tom Callemin (b. 1991, Belgium), Andrea Grützner (b. 1984, Germany), Alexandra Lethbridge (b. 1987, United Kingdom), Robin Lopvet (b. 1990, France) and Stefanie Moshammer (b. 1988, Austria).

Unseen Amsterdam 2017 is open from September 22 – 24, 2017 at Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
