Photo London presents its sixth edition at Somerset House from 9-12 September, with a preview on 8 September. Presenting 91 galleries from 17 countries, the photo fair will have again a hybrid format with Photo London Digital, with a second edition running on artsy.com and photolondon.org from 9–28 September 2021. The digital fair will supplement the physical event at Somerset House allowing participation to those who will be unable to travel despite the easing of the restrictions.
The programme this year includes talks in association with the FT Weekend; professional photography workshops led by Nikon; portfolio reviews with the editorial team of the British Journal of Photography, and an extensive VIP programme of in-person & online events in partnership with the Met and Whitney Museum (New York), Photographic Arts Council (Los Angeles), Barbican Centre, V&A and Tate.
The Master of Photography Award will again present a living artist who has made an exceptional contribution to photography. During the fair, Iranian artist Shirin Neshat will present his work ’Land of Dreams’.In the Publishers section, highlights include Lee Miller Archives, DSL Collection, Kraszna-Krausz Foundation, Stanley Foundation, and The View Magazine.
