GUP is proud to announce the annual Open Call for its 10th edition of New Dutch Talent.
Are you ready for the next step in your professional career as a visual artist? All emerging photographers born or based in The Netherlands, who graduated in 2017 or later and/or are working as an autodidact photographer for 3 years or less, are welcome to apply!
You can submit your work until September 6th, 2020. The book will be launched by the end of this year, December 2020.
GUP NEW
GUP New is a leading annual book celebrating the 100 best emerging Dutch photographers of the year.
Initiated in 2012 by GUP, an international platform for the promotion of contemporary photography, GUP New is highlighting the most exciting emerging talents in photography situated in The Netherlands.
Exposure
Our aim is to support the featured talents by giving exposure. Besides the participants receiving 4 copies of GUP New 2021 in person , we will also sent out copies of the book to our extensive network of museums, galleries, publishers, festivals etc . It is our experience, over the years, that these professionals are eager to get to know about new artists like yourself first.
We’ll also promote the participants via our GUP platforms (websites, social media and events).
New Dutch Photography Talent has been the kickstart for many Dutch photographers, including Bastiaan Woudt, Justine Tjallinks, Paul Cupido, Kevin Osepa, Rebecca Fertinel, Joost Termeer and many others.

Applications for submissions are free of charge, only once selected a participation fee will be asked.
