Raised in the United States, and currently residing in The Netherlands, Gavin de Boer is a young and talented photographer who started photographing landscapes and animals. Nowadays Gavin focuses more on portraying people. Although his current work is mainly staged, Gavin’s interest in high tempo street photography is becoming more apparent. Photographers like Neil Krug, William Eggleston and Lee Friedlander inspire him.
Gavin is one of many Olympus Visionaries operating the globe, inspiring people and spreading their knowledge and skills of Olympus cameras, objectives and accessories. Currently Gavin’s favorite camera is the Olympus OM-D E-M1.
