From Saturday, December 5 until Thursday, December 24, Kahmann Gallery will host a group exhibition of GUP New 2021.
During these weeks, the 10th edition of GUP New book, GUP New 2021, will be on display for the first time alongside a group exhibition of the 100 selected talents – the best emerging photography talents of the country.
The exhibition will be accompanied by a Christmas Photo Book Market – Presented and curated by ARTIBOOKS, an online platform where you can find a selection of vintage, rare and signed photobooks and in addition, GUP New and GUP magazine collection, which this year celebrate the 10th and 15th anniversaries respectively.
Due to the current COVID situation, Kahmann Gallery can host only a limited number of people at the same time. GUP New Dutch Photography Talent of the Year Award 2021
On December 4, the GUP New Dutch Photography Talent of the Year Award Ceremony will take place. From the 100 talents, an expert jury composed by Anna Elisabeth Kruyswijk (Lauwer Art), Erik Vroons (GUP), Judith Zilversmit (Het Parool), Justine Tjallinks (fine art photographer), Roy Kahmann ( Kahmann Gallery), and Gregor Vos (Brinkhof) selected five nominees. During the ceremony, accessible for the public via a live stream, the winner will be announced.
The five nominees for this year’s edition are: Chantal Elisabeth Ariëns, Dienie Brouwer, Iris Haverkamp Begemann, Marijn Fidder and Parisa Aminolahi.
